DAVID WOODING - Director, Twinwood Festival
"Andrew's work is magnificent, and we feel that his unique portrait style captures the atmosphere and mood of the festival beautifully."
Urban and rural landscapes photographed from around the world.
The volcanic slope of Mount Fuji, Japan, frozen lakes in Sweden, Camogli in the Italian Riveria, the natural sands of Dune du Pilat in France to the beautiful architecture of walled statue gardens of Versailles in Paris.
Closer to his Oxfordshire home, landscapes of Oxford’s Christchurch meadows, Fowey in Cornwall, the Cotswolds and Brighton photographed in sun, snow and ice complimented by photographs all by photographer Andrew Ogilvy.
Jerry the fox labrador was commissioned for the Duke of Marlborough and I'm very proud the photograph is framed and displayed in Blenheim Palace, Woodstock.
Dog photography started with my love of canines growing up in the countryside in Scotland. Moving to the Cotswolds models are in abundance as either working dogs or pets.
Cesar Millan (the Dog Whisperer) has had a big influence in how I approach photographing such animals. During a trip to Los Angeles I was fortunate enough to visit where the early series where filmed.
Photos in the gallery include Terry Jones (Monty Python) beautiful dog Nancy, French skateboarding dogs Tuxedo and Neo, rescue dogs as well as jack russells, terriers, pointers, dalmations and pugs.
The Blue Cross in Burford was a period of time I very much enjoyed being a very small cog in the fantastic work they do from there.
